I was thinking of competing this year and was wondering if this would be necessary to shed those last few pounds? I was speaking to another figure girl and she told me that she used it and lost bodyfat but is not capable to lose weight post competition because of it.

elli,
Well clenbuterol is not a necessity by any means even when competing;first of all,it depends on your present conditioning. We both know you are very close to your competitive physique at this point,so with PROPER PROGRAMMING and tweaking your present diet we can get there, without too much concern.Once again,it's because you are very close to your stage ready physique... As for your friend,I don't know who prepped her for competition but I can tell you that her lack of progress is probably NOT due to her clenbuterol use.I would bet it has to do with her actual preparation to get to her competition as well as her post comp protocol.I've heard of many ways coaches use clen and let me tell you...it's used more often as a desperate measure in conjuction with protein only diets or 'low carb solutions' to 'attempt' to FORCE the body to lose the extra bodyfat.Unfortunately, post competition this only adds to the whole 'competition rebound' effect and girls seem to balloon in weight almost uncontrollably. So,glad you asked the question...we can talk more about contest prep when we meet next. All in all, clenbuterol has its place, but it should not be used to FORCE the body to shed bodyfat;if decision is made to use this compound, then it should be in conjuction with proper program design in both training / diet ,etc.Much easier said than done though !

You shouldn't have to take energy in a pill form, food will do just fine. Seems to me like you need to go back to drawing board as far as your diet goes. Low carb diets work for some, but then other macros need to be adjusted (moderate protein and high fat) accordingly.
As far as those last few lbs go, as one of the great coaches once said "if it doesn't feel like work, it's not going to work".
I am sure others will chime in.

In my humble opinion, you need a break from everything,re-fuel and get back to the drawing board as darius stated to review your plan of action.GOOD LUCK. Theo

I would never attempt to take clen again without proper supervision. That stuff is potent and had some crazy shakes, badass headaches, etc. I remember using a pump though...not pills.
