Theos. Ive got 7 weeks now till my photoshoot so every little counts in regards to nutrition & training. Ive taken out my weekly spike day and have noticed much better results, My current training plan is a 5 day Innervation program with 2 x abs/core and on another day quad blast ! My plan also calls for steady state cardio in the evening, to burn off a few more cals,
I know my fat loss is coming from my diet and intense training NOT my steady state BUT, doing all this on 1500- 1600cals a day( remember im 6ft 1 and 185lbs) with NO spikes is killing me, Im finding energy levels and intensity are dropping through the workouts now when doing the abs/core,quad blast/innervation and 5 days of steady state , and after training which is in the morning im pretty grumpy and tied all day, what do you suggest?
1)Have a clean carb re-feed?
2)Cut down to 3-4 steady state sessions
3)stop moaning and get on with it you wimp.lol?
best

Danny,
Your FAT loss is coming from your COMPLETE program, including CARDIO.In addition, you state your results are much better without the spikes so to me,you sound like you're on track. As for what you should do,well it doesn't work like that;I follow my athletes from start to finish and this is what you need to understand;it's a whole process...all I can say is that what you are feeling is NORMAL.You are taking your body to a place it is not comfotable being, hence your energy levels, tiredness, etc.Getting ripped hurts and this is what I mean by that...now as for details on what to do...don't know, but I will say this : Your feedback sounds normal because you're body hasn't settled at your new level of leaness;it might settle it might not...depends on so many variables and how your process has gone from the beginning. You'll understand why it's called a process when you get a coach to help guide you OBJECTIVELY. So for now,I'd have to go with # 3...
Best, Theo

Theo has prepared me for many of my photo shoots and I followed him 100%...yes it's very difficult and yes you are going to be more tired and energy levels will definitely drop but a certain look needs to be achieved and it doesn't come easy you need to stick to your plan and look straight ahead at your goals...

Faye,I agree with you on all levels.Theo prepared me and it was a blessing for me to prep with him because he explained everything to me before it happened (ie:energy drop, fatigue, etc) and it felt good not to be overwhelmed by all of it.You never know how it feels until you actually do it.For me,it was an amazing experience but I have talked to many girls who did not feel this way.
