Hey Theo, I know Scott doesn't like to talk about this on his forum. Do you have the same policy? I just have a general curiosity, nothing serious, about people's experience with them. If you do have the same policy then feel free to delete this thread, and I could just send a private message. Thanks.

Either / or is fine with me as long as we don;t turn this into a 'steroids 101' course...there's plenty of sites like that all over the net...you can post here or you can email me in private as you are a client...it's your call.
Best, Theo

Do you know of any references or articles that could be a good starting point to begin to understand this stuff? I don't want to bombard you with a million questions.

Davis,
What exactly do you want to learn ? There's too many topics, articles, etc that are relevant and just as many that are misleading...shoot me an email and we can take from there (IF it's beyond the scope of these forums).

Theo,
In regards to Physique enhancement how much of an impact does 'exogenous' stuff have?
I'm starting to think NOT as much as most would like to believe?? Would you agree?
My thoughts lately seem to be that correct diet protocol, structured workout plan, using correct technique < stretch contract/speed power> is WAY more important than going down "that" route.... Don't get me wrong if you GOAL is to compete at high levels in BB maybe you NEED them just to play fair.? sounds odd but it seems true in this sport, < natural guys taking steroids etc>
But im thinking that once everything is in place < as above> for recreational BB/ athletes theres NO real point other than vanity.
Now days people need SO much "stuff" to develop there physiques but with that, they need SO much stuff to counter act things(,acne, gyno, sleep, blood pressure, hair loss, water) I just cant imagine how it's really worth it ? Unless you fall under the catogery as above < competing BB/ Top magazine model and the like.
What your thoughts in this subject mate?

Danny,
Listen, steroids have their place as far as I'm concerned;but you are correct in saying that your training history as well as training age and nutrition have much more of an impact...all steroids do is enhance the physique...that's it,that's all...I know so many who eat like crap and train like crap with no direction and steroids just add to the mix negatively...as for thingytails to counter act side effects from the high amounts of steroids, that's just faulty logic...In addition, some just have a great response to steroids as well...they can use either minimal or moderate amounts and grow optimally and others can consume very high amounts with diminished returns...One thing for sure though, faulty logic is at an all time high with all the supposed gurus who beleive they can counter act everything with thingytail mentality...LOL...that's just plain stupid...

Thanks for reply there mate. Makes sense for sure.
I've spoken to Scott also about certain things to counter act stuff. Lets just say he agreed with you LOL.
My point being. Is there any REAL need for recreational bodybuilders?

Thanks Theo. Makes sense Theo could you tell me < briefly > why Scott dont like PCT < HCG,Clomid etc> I thought those drugs where a MUST in bringing your test levels back to normal levels once "off" cycle , I thought those who do NOT run PCT where risking shut down which can last months or even worse jeperdising there chance of having children etc...... thanks

Danny, One word : Biofeedback...but all you say there is just not true...I don;t think he doesn;t beleive in it...I just think he feels there's no need for it and I happen to agree...the way trainees are working out post cycle therapy is ludacris...when do you actually give your body a break from all exogenous pharmas...? Proper and consistent nutrition as well as internal cues will always rule out everything else...but common sense needs to be stuck into the mix as well...LOL...I mean some emails I get are basically long term cycles...even when you're OFF,you're taking in PCT drugs to bring you back Nothing will bring you back other than TIME...Don;t kid yourself... Theo, Sorry what do you mean "the way trainees train durning PCT "? I don't follow that bit LOL Agree with you in the sense, that you do need a break " from everything" So can the body bring itself back < test levels, sperm count, etc etc> without the traditional use of say HCG,Clomid and a A.I such as aromasin ? thanks mate

Working out as in scheduling post cycle drug administration..."thought process" more or less...and yes, your body can bring itself back...take some real time off and go get a blood test...that's usually all it takes...the blood test is usually a great indicator of present state...most ignore getting a blood test but are willing to spend more and more on PCT because of all the internet guru counteracting of everything...TIME OFF anyone ? Thanks mate. Appriciate it RE: blood tests. It's something i'm getting straight after the Holidays. As you say it's best indicator of "present state"..... I am actually taking some time off now, from everything. And i mean everything LOL. And to be honest i have NO intentions of going back ON anytime soon.... Maybe when something < photos etc> come up... But right now. I trying to "mature" and appriciate/accept what i've got.. NOT always wanting something better Dan
