I've been getting a few private e-mails on the WHOLE BODY HYPERTROPHY program and thought I would post my thoughts about the product...please feel free to ask your questions and/or concerns right here on the forums.
"Here's what I thought of this excellent 5 set DVD package developed by none other than our own Scott Abel.To begin with,I was very impressed with the quality of the DVD's which makes it that much more exciting to watch. The introduction is awesome as we get to know Scott's world out in British Columbia and as far as those slippers,WOW! I love the fact that Scott can be himself and doesn't need to impress anybody out there. He remains true to himself, which makes all his work THAT much more interesting. Now,as far as the content...
All I can say is that this program is definetely NOT for the weak hearted,as with any of Scott's work, which he gets to emphasize numerous times throughout the DVD.It is slightly reminiscent of Bob Gadja's work on "Peripheral Heart Action" but takes this to a whole other dimension of pushing the whole body past new limits of intensity as well as growth, especially when transitioning into a traditional bodybuilding program. The carryover in growth and strength as well, must be huge because of the work density the body is undergoing on this program.Scott has done an excellent job of combining various movements to compliment his theories on various planes and ranges of motion hitting all muscle groups from every possible angle and does so with added creativity using DB's,MB's,BWT,Elastic Bands of all types, discs, plyo balls, etc.
In addition,Scott has demonstrated how to properly apply the "rules" of the whole body hypertrophy program which leaves a trainee with numerous options as well as an independancy to keep on creating programs as well as keeping it alive on any given day, depending on one's biofeedback;so although this is a program for the general public and is targeting the masses,it can easily be tweaked to fit the individual, especially since Scott has also demonstrated this on paper with the rules but also gives multiple examples of how one can do this to fit his/her own "needs state".The possibilities are truly endless as most have stated on this thread.
Scott also capitalizes on demonstrating the true meaning of oxygen debt, speed, agility, power, various lifts and their porgression as well as digression and common myths that seem to exist everywhere in the gyms and on all internet boards out there.I also appreciated the fact that Scott always remains true to the innervation methodology by correcting certain aspects of training while Kevin Weiss is training and is undergoing a tremendous amount of stress and oxygen debt.Things like a muscle stretched under resistance will receive maximum amount of overload, fighting the flex,etc...
Another truly inspiring aspect of this DVD set,is watching the creator of all of this instructing Kevin as well as the viewer on proper techinique, little tid-bits that make all the difference while training and relays the true meaning of this methodology which leaves no room for error.Kevin is truly amazing as far as athletics and remains humble throughout the whole series of DVD's,even though he goes through these monster workouts like wildfire. One can only appreciate his efforts when attempting the workouts;it's one thing to view and another to implement first hand.
All in all,I am very happy once again with my purchase and looking forward to keep reviewing this material so that I can properly implement with my own clientele...truly an amazing product that all of you should invest in to further your training knowledge, whether your doing it for yourself or training others".

I took a look at the DVD's on your site and it does look very intersting. I am thinking of purchasing, but I think it is not for now, but later on, once I reach my goal. You have taught me so much so far about training properly, that it will be my bible for afterwards.

Tina,
Glad you checked out the products;they contain a library of exercises that can be used in many settings as excellent theories and applications from a man that I respect and look up to...you've never really trained with a high level of intensity, until you've trained this way...it's an excellent resource that can be referred to for whatever reason...also shows what INTENSITY is really like...Thanks for the interest T...
